Gutter Repair and Installation in Cypress
We repair and replace gutters and downspouts so winter rain leaves your roof and lands where it should, away from your walls, foundation and front steps. You stay off the ladder. We bring the right equipment, protect your yard and leave nothing sharp behind.

Gutters Keep Water Off Your Home's Weak Spots
Most of the year, gutters here sit dry and collect leaves and dust. Then a few heavy storms arrive in a single week, and every weak seam, loose hanger and clogged downspout shows up at once. Water spills over the front edge, soaks the fascia board, splashes mud onto stucco and pools against the slab.
We handle gutter repair when the system is sound and just needs attention, and new one-piece gutters when the old ones have pulled loose, rusted through or were never sized for the roof. Either way, we check the roof edge and fascia behind them, because a new gutter hung on rotten wood will not stay put.
What Our Gutter Work Includes
Continuous aluminum gutters
We form each run in one piece to fit that side of your home, so the only joints are at the corners. Fewer joints mean fewer drips onto your walkways and patio.
Repairs to existing gutters
We reseal leaking seams and end caps, replace bent sections and reset gutters that have lost their slope toward the downspout.
Hangers and fastening
Loose spikes get replaced with screwed hidden hangers spaced close enough to carry the weight of wet leaves and standing water.
Downspouts and drainage
We put downspouts where the most water collects on the roof. At the bottom, an extension or a concrete splash block carries the flow several feet out, so it soaks into the yard rather than sitting against your slab.
Fascia and roof edge check
Before anything goes up, we look at the fascia boards and drip edge. If the wood is soft, we tell you and show you photos before we quote the fix.
Signs Your Gutters Need Attention
Water spills over the edge
When rain pours over the front lip instead of heading to the downspout, something is blocking it, the gutter is too small for the roof above it, or the slope runs backward.
Dipping or leaning gutters
A run that bows in the middle or tilts out from the wall has lost its hangers. It will hold water, get heavier and eventually tear loose.
Stains and peeling paint
Dark streaks on stucco, peeling fascia paint or rust lines under the gutter point to slow leaks that have been running for a while.
Puddles near the foundation
Pooling along the slab, washed-out planting beds or a damp garage wall after rain usually means a downspout is dumping water in the wrong place.
Gaps at corners and seams
Look up after a storm. Drips at the joints mean the sealant has dried out and cracked, which is common on older sectional gutters.
What Happens on Gutter Day
- 1
Measuring and a written estimate
First we go around your home with a tape, checking every run and the fascia behind it, and we photograph what we see. The free written estimate spells out repair or replacement, the materials and where each downspout will go.
- 2
Setting up safely
Ladders are footed on stable ground with standoffs so they never rest on the gutter itself. We note power lines, keep the work zone marked and ask that kids and pets stay inside while we are overhead.
- 3
Removal and fascia prep
Old gutters come down in sections and go straight into our truck. Any fascia repair agreed on in the estimate gets done before the new gutter is hung.
- 4
Install and test
We hang the new runs with the right slope, connect downspouts and run water through every section to confirm it drains with no drips at the seams.
- 5
Cleanup and walk-around
We pick up screws, metal shavings and old sealant, sweep with a magnet and walk the job with you before we leave.
What Shapes the Cost of Gutter Work
Gutter pricing depends mostly on how much gutter your home needs and how easy it is to reach safely. Financing is available through Service Finance Company, subject to credit approval. Either way, we measure on site and put every item in writing, so you see the number before any work begins.
- Feet of gutter and corner count
- The bigger share of the price comes from how many feet of gutter go up. Every inside or outside corner adds a little more, since each one is cut and fitted by hand.
- Height and access
- Two-story walls, steep slopes below the eave or tight side yards take more setup time and equipment to work safely.
- Gutter size and downspouts
- Larger roofs or long valleys may call for a wider gutter profile and extra downspouts to keep up with heavy rain.
- Fascia condition
- Rotten or split fascia has to be replaced before new gutters can be fastened, and we only know the extent once we inspect it.
- Repair versus replacement
- Resealing and resetting a sound system costs far less than a full replacement, and we will tell you plainly which one your gutters need.
Questions Homeowners Ask About Gutters
Something not covered here? (714) 613-8375
It hardly rains here. Are gutters really worth it?
For most homes, yes. Rain here tends to arrive in short, hard downpours, and with no gutters it falls right beside the foundation, wears away soil and spatters the bottom of the walls. Gutters and well-placed downspouts guide that water away from the house.
Is fixing my gutters an option instead of replacing them?
Frequently, yes. When the metal is sound and the trouble is loose hangers, cracked sealant or the wrong slope, a repair makes sense. We suggest replacement when sections have rusted through, are badly bent or are pulling the fascia away.
Does it make sense to replace gutters along with a new roof?
Often it does. Gutters come down during a roof replacement regardless, so putting up new ones then lets us fit them to the new drip edge in one setup. If yours are still in good condition, we can hang them back up instead.
Does insurance pay for gutters damaged in a storm?
That depends on your policy and the cause of the damage. We photograph each dented, torn or loosened section, and we coordinate with your insurer on the claim by sending those photos along with our written estimate. Coverage is decided by your adjuster. Our storm damage repair page explains the claim steps more fully.
How long will a gutter installation take?
Most one-story homes are done in a single day, old gutter removal and cleanup included. Fascia repairs or a second story can lengthen the job, and your estimate comes with a realistic timeline.
